About "Lake Nakuru"

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of more than 1500 metres above sea level. The view of the lake was breathtakingly beautiful right from the entrance we drove through. The variety and number of animals we spotted were incredible, including more than a dozen rhinos, several lions, hyenas, cape buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, baboons, flamingos, secretary birds, silver crown birds, starlings, Egyptian geese, storks, king fisher, and many other bird species. We also visited the waterfall.
