Muremba Retreat Kitale is a great bed and breakfast establishment, offering five room options. The area is quiet, clean and well managed.
Guests can enjoy our optional meals which are prepared by our chef, Teddy. The excellent security and amazingly landscaped gardens make this retreat a bird watching haven. We have a perfect wedding and function venue, and an outdoor conference facility is available for a different experience.
The location is excellent for a stopover en route to Mount Elgon or Lake Turkana. The retreat is located 16 km from Mount Elgon National Park, which is the home of the elephant caves. A day trip to Mount Elgon, with a private picnic lunch, is available on request. Lake Turkana, which is better known as the Jade Sea, is a great outing that is located nearby. Horse riding and private safaris to Western Kenya can also be arranged. Take a day trip to the Kakamenga Rainforest or to the Sitatunga Sanctuary to view endangered antelope. You could even take one of our agricultural visits or a walk to the nearby championship golf course.
