About me
I have been teaching a variety of subjects since 1990, starting with martial arts and moving through I.T.-related subjects. From 2009, I taught Tai Chi Qigong as a full-time job. Subsequent to 2018 I studied the TEFL 120-hour course plus an additional 30-hour course for teaching Online.
Formal education was never that interesting for me, I left school with seven GCE O Levels and average grades. Later, as I worked in IT I chose to study for a BA in Computer Studies, as an Online course. In the intervening years, I have taken other certificates, including City and Guilds Advice and Guidance Level 3, and the FAETC teacher certificate.

All lesson objectives are customized to the student's requirements and goals, for example, someone may want help to learn holiday English, or to take the IELTS A1. Goals and objectives are set in the first sessions but can be changed later.
I have a friendly but strict style, using humor as an ice-breaker. I am familiar with different cultures, having a Thai wife, who was my first student (and the reason why I took the TEFL course).
