About me
Eve Neumann, born in Keila, is a classical saxophonist, educator and improviser. She started musical studies in Keila Music School in piano class. She begun to play saxophone in Georg Ots Music School and continued it in Estonia Music and Theatre Academy. She gained her BA degree on 2002 as a soloist and orchestral player. Eve has also participated in several master classes; Jörgen Pettersson (Sweden), Christer Johnsson (Sweden), Christophe Bois (France). She has been improving her skills as exchange student in Sibelius Academy with prof. Pekka Savijoki and in Netherland Utrecht Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten with prof. Johan van der Linden. She has participated in festival “Saxomania” (1997), competition for young interprets “Con Brio” (2002). 2003 Eve won IV place and diploma in H. Kareva International Competition for Saxophone Players. She has played with Tallinn Saxophone Quartet, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of exclusive NATO Saxophone Orchestra, which gave first concert on 2015 in World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg. She is a member of saxophone quartet Quattro Quarti and Estonian Saxophone Orchestra. She gained MA (Master of Arts) degree in free and contemporary improvisation on 2019.
Eve works as a principal saxophonist in the Orchestra of the Estonian Defense Forces and is a board member of Estonian Saxophone Association and a board member of Estonian Impro Association. She teaches saxophone in Saue Music School.
