I have a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics (University of Frankfurt am Main, 2013), and Bachelor degree of Laws with options in Accountancy (University of Aberdeen, UK, 2011).
I first started giving private lessons in 2008 in high school, where I instructed my classmates and friends who could not understand the subject properly. I continued in university to supplement my student allowance. After graduation I became full time private tutor. Currently I teach Mathematics and Physics at different levels up to A-Level/IB and Economics and Finance at university level as well.
As of 2022, I have 13 years of teaching experience both individually and in mini groups. My students come from many countries worldwide (UK, Germany, Russia, UAE, Israel, Singapore, and China) and majority of them successfully achieved their goals of passing the exams such as GCSE, IB, A-Level, German Abitur and University. All have significantly improved their knowledge.
My lessons & teaching style
My private lessons differ from those of many other tutors because I am always open to questions whenever they arise, making students not just learn the subject but truly understand it by providing many real life examples. “Always ask how and why!” This is my slogan and key for success. My lessons are interactive and students really take part in them, not just listen. I tend to give a considerable amount of homework and always discuss the results, so pupils get a lot of independent practice as well. The material can be taught in English, Russian and partly in German.
Since Physics and Electronics in particular is my hobby. As a bonus to students looking for Physics lessons, I have a small laboratory where I can make and show students some simple experiments from the curriculum. If someone is interested in 3D printing, courses on that are available as well.
