About me
Hello and welcome! My name is May, and I am passionate about teaching and supporting learners to succeed in their educational journey. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in different parts of the world, which has given me a deep appreciation for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
I believe that education should be an inspiring and supportive experience, and I enjoy creating an environment where students feel confident and motivated to grow. Beyond teaching, I enjoy music, art, and reading, which often inspire my creativity in the classroom and help me connect with learners in meaningful ways.

My lessons & teaching style
I am a dedicated educator with a strong background in science, holding a degree in Biology and extensive teaching experience across Africa, South America, and Australia. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of levels, from early childhood through to primary and middle school, including Year 3 under the Cambridge curriculum as well as mathematics and science programs for upper primary. My Biology training has given me a deep appreciation for the natural world, and I enjoy bringing hands-on, inquiry-based learning into the classroom to spark curiosity and critical thinking.
Alongside my science expertise, I have supported children with diverse learning needs and worked closely with families and communities to create inclusive and supportive environments. I also enjoy incorporating art, music, and creative activities into lessons, helping learners develop both academically and personally. My passion is to see every student grow in confidence and succeed in their own unique way.
