I am a primary school teacher with 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football, reading and going out for meals. I have been teaching for 25 years and have seen a lot of changes in education but I’ve still got the passion and enthusiasm for the job so I’ve carried on. I love the feeling when a child has that light bulb moment and they understand something that has been tough for them to understand. Very rewarding.

I make my lessons interactive and fun. The children are given many opportunities to work independently but are encouraged to ask questions and solve problems prior to asking for support. I teach in small blocks and build on each stage and I enjoy cross curricular links as the children are able to explore more within a given topic/subject.
