About me
Hello! My name is Coach Pinky. I tutor in math and test preparation. I am invested in each of my students' success and work hard to help them succeed. Consequently, each of my past tutoring clients has seen significant improvement.
On my spare time, I enjoy taking part in small organizations, helping facilitate activities such as charity events, cleaning environment and etc.
My lessons & teaching style
I have taught Mathematics and English. My specialty and strength is teaching Mathematics. I use the CPA ( concrete, Pictorial, and Abstract) method making them understand the basic concepts and fill the gaps. I have worked on individual learning plans for each student, setting SMART goals for them.
I have also been working with Common Core at the elementary level and am able to help my students understand this process.
I am also very knowledgeable of Algebra and am able to tutor older students as well. I love working with kids of all ages and am eager to share my love of math with them all.
