About me
Ciao! Mi chiamo Diana, piacere! I am from a beautiful seaside city in southern Italy, I lived in London for 5 years and I recently moved to Barcelona. I've been passionate about my language from a young age and I've always known that teaching Italian was my dream job.
I graduated first in Science Education and then in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning with the highest final grades (110/110). Once I moved to London, in 2017, I got an official certification (CLTA) at the International House London. Since then I've been teaching online and in-person students of all ages and different languages and cultures.
My lessons & teaching style
My approach to teaching is based first of all on the student's needs. It is important to assess the level and the personal interests of the students and to discuss together any arrangement that makes the learning process easier.
Although you will develop a well-balanced knowledge of the four skills, most of the focus will be on improving your comprehension of spoken language and your conversation.
It's also important for me to make the lesson funny and enjoyable... we are going to play games and role plays and sing songs!
My students also find it very useful that I speak Italian with them since day one!
