About me
I have been teaching English since 1996. I started my Career in Tallinn Old Town Educational College under supervision of Sister Mary Venard. The method she created and developed was called total immersion which meant that classes were held only in English. The training I went through in parallel with working was intense and exciting. Later I continued in Rocca al Mare School (in grades from 1 to 6). Since 2016 I have held the same position in Kaarli School. I have had plenty of experinece as a private tutor of English as well. I have had private students from primary to high school. I'm a supportive and resposible person with quite balanced systematic and creative side. I can also say that I'm thorough and dedicated in my work. I'm deeply intrested in literatude, drama and psychology. I enjoy nature and healthy lifestyle. I am married and a proud mother of a 25-year-old daughter.
My lessons & teaching style
My experiences have shown that each student is a different universe ja I try to find approach the most suitable for each of them. I am able to help with the develop speaking, reading, listening and writing skills, vocabulary and grammar. My knowledge of methodologies is diverse and comprehensive and I believe to have enough intuition to choose the most effective solution in any situation. I have knowledge, experience and information about many internet resources and feel confident using technology. The specific approach depends primarily on individual needs but I am in favor of discovery learning and a creative attitude.
