About me
My name is Olga and I am an English teacher. I live in Tallinn. It’s my hometown and I love it. Tallinn is very beautiful town and I strongly recommend to visit it.
I work at public school and teach English for primary school children, but I want to try teaching secondary school children too.
I love my job. Children motivate me to create interesting lessons. When I see the results of my teaching it makes me happy.
I have about 15 years experience of teaching small children and most of my students love to learn English.
Also, I always try to learn something new. So, I would like to try teaching kids online. It seems to be interesting for me. Educational technologies develop and become better every day and I would like to try using all these programmes and apps with my students.
My lessons & teaching style
As I work with small children, I use lots of games, songs and other interesting techniques for kids. I believe that children learn better when vocabulary and grammar is taught through bright and motivating activities. It is better to sing grammar songs to learn the verb to be than just complete hundreds of grammar exercises. My students complete grammar tasks, but these tasks are not boring. I use different online resources like wordwall, genial.ly and miro board in my teaching.
