About me
I'm Monica Tovar Wokojance, the proud owner of an Art Academy in Bluffton, SC, where I teach art classes in person. Eager to expand my reach and impact, I've embarked on the journey of integrating online classes to connect with a wider audience. Having been immersed in art since the age of 5 and holding a background in Architecture school, my life's passion has always revolved around art. Despite knowing my identity and aspirations, the path was not without doubts and obstacles.
Now, my mission is to not only impart the highest level of drawing skills to my students but also guide them in discovering their own paths, especially when it comes to making choices for college and aligning their skills with their aspirations. I am dedicated to empowering them to leverage their artistic abilities to achieve their goals.
My lessons & teaching style
I have a passion for understanding each student's unique drawing style and providing targeted assistance where they face challenges. Much like a blind spot in driving, it can be challenging to identify obstacles hindering skill development. My goal is to serve as that guiding force, helping students overcome these obstacles and fostering growth in their artistic abilities.
