About me

Hi! I'm a fully qualified teacher from the UK. I was a classroom teacher for 17 years in classes ranging from Reception to year 6. I'm now offering 1:1 online tutoring sessions for all key stages from KS1 to KS3.

My lessons & teaching style

I have been teaching to the UK curriculum for all of my teaching career. I have been a Year 6 teacher and have lots of experience with the SATs test and what is required for them. I have also taught 11+ students from around the world.

I was a phase leader and and math's coordinator in my last school teaching post and have a good knowledge of all key skills and objectives for each year primary group. I am now tutoring KS3 children too.

My lessons start with an initial assessment of each student and then | plan a bespoke set of lessons to build on and consolidate any skills that are needed. Homework will be set and revisited in the lesson if required by the parents.
